A terpene commonly used in makeup and skincare products, Bisabolol was first discovered and isolated in 1951. Known for its floral fragrance with a hint of spice and sweet citrus, this terpene is found in chamomile. Medicinal benefits may include, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibiotic, anti-anxiety, and more. Strains with high concentrations of Bisabolol are, Headband, ACDC, Og Kush, Mandarin Dream, and Super Sour D. A study in 2011 showed Bisabolol may actually kill acute leukemia cells. We can’t wait to see what future studies will tell us.
