America’s longest serving cannabis prisoner is now a free man as of Tuesday morning. The Last Prisoner Project helped make this happen and we can’t thank them enough. Originally sentenced to 90 years for the small crime of selling cannabis, he went on to serve 31 long years. To be sentenced to 90 years, which is a life sentence, as a non violent offender is completely asinine in terms of justice. Cannabis won’t be legal until all of our cannabis prisoners are free.
