Each year, we see an alarming increase in alcohol related deaths. According the the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) there has never been an adult death linked to cannabis. When you compare zero cannabis deaths to the nearly 3 million alcohol related deaths globally each year, it’s easy to see which is the true killer. With January upon us, thousands of people are turning to ‘Dry January’ and taking a month off alcohol. Additionally, more and more people turn to sobriety each year. Of course like anything linked to cannabis, more testing must be done. Alas, when the benefits outweigh the risks, it can be worth a shot.
